Open Position: Junior Sales Associate
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba
Position Responsibilities:
- Contact businesses or by telephone/email in order to solicit sales for company software and services.
- Explain scope of software, and answer questions from customers.
- Obtain customer information such as name, address, contact information and enter orders into client database.
- Manage daily call cue, and help develop pipeline of qualified leads.
- Deliver prepared sales talks, reading from scripts that describe products or services, in order to persuade potential customers to purchase a product or service.
- Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific companies.
- Obtain names and telephone numbers of potential customers from sources such as industry directories, magazine reply cards, and lists purchased from other organizations.
- Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements.
- Telephone or write emails to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up initial sales contacts.
- Schedule appointments for sales representatives to contact prospective customers or for customers to attend sales webinars.
- Perform call campaigns to existing customers to sell aftermarket products, and to invite to upcoming webinars.
- Conduct client or market surveys in order to obtain information about potential customers.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Telemarketing experience in a software environment.
- Excellent English oral and written commutation skills.
- Enthusiasm, attention to detail, ability to work independently.
