About uniPoint
uniPoint is a leading provider of ERP-Integrated Quality Management Software (QMS), headquartered in Winnipeg. We’re known for a transparent, low-pressure sales approach that puts relationships first. Our team values integrity, collaboration, and balance — because great work shouldn’t come at the expense of your well-being.
We offer a competitive salary + bonus structure, along with a culture that supports your personal and professional growth.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for someone who’s interested is starting a career in tech sales — but doesn’t love the idea of “cold calling strangers all day.”
As a Business Development Rep, your focus will be connecting with warm, engaged prospects — people who have already interacted with our website, downloaded content, or shown interest in what we do.
Your role is to continue that conversation: understand their needs, answer questions, and guide them toward the next step (like booking a demo or attending a webinar).
You’ll use a mix of phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach — but always with prospects who already know who we are.
This role has a direct growth path into a Regional Sales Manager position, with full responsibility for the sales cycle of a large North American territory.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Connect with warm inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, website activity, and webinars
- Follow up with prospects who have already shown interest in uniPoint (no blind cold calling lists)
- Use phone, email, and LinkedIn to build relationships and qualify opportunities
- Book meetings and demos for the sales team
- Invite prospects and customers to webinars, events, and user conferences
- Ask thoughtful questions to understand business challenges and goals
- Maintain accurate notes and activity in our CRM
- Collaborate with marketing on messaging and outreach campaigns
- Contribute ideas for improving how we engage with prospects
What Success Looks Like
- Consistently engaging with interested prospects and moving them to the next step
- Helping us book 16 appointments per month with new prospects
- Building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales team
- Creating meaningful conversations — not just high-volume activity
- Strong communication skills — you’re comfortable talking to people and building rapport
- Curious and eager to learn (especially about software and business processes)
- Organized and able to manage follow-ups across multiple channels
- Positive, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Experience in sales, customer service, or marketing is helpful — but not required
- Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach, ZoomInfo
- Knowledge of ERP, or Quality Management systems
- Experience in marketing/selling to manufacturing companies
- Marketing or business-related education
- You’ll primarily work with people who already know us
- No aggressive, high-pressure sales tactics
- A more consultative, relationship-first approach
- Exposure to both sales and marketing, making it a strong career launchpad
- Competitive salary + bonus structure
- Health benefits package
- 2 weeks paid vacation
- All Canadian statutory holidays
- A supportive, team-first environment
- Real opportunities to grow within the company
